Black Creek (Ontario)

Black Creek is one of many waterways that flow from the city of Vaughan, Ontario just north of Toronto (near Highway 407 and Jane Street and connects to the Humber River (Toronto) near Scarlett Road and Dundas Street West.
This creek is smaller than most of the waterways in the Greater Toronto Area. Much of the river consist of culverts south of the Highway 401 and Jane Street.
On August 19, 2005, Black Creek was the site of heavy flooding as a result of extremely heavy rains that afternoon.
