Black N' Blue was a rock band from Portland. They did not make it to superstardom, but they recorded some hit albums such as Without Love, In Heat, & Nasty Nasty. Their biggest hit single came off the self-titled first album called "Hold on to 18". Jamie St. James is now the lead singer of the rock band Warrant & the band live incorporates this song into their set list.

Black 'N Blue were signed by Geffen Records. They release four albums under this label & three Music Videos: Hold on to 18, Miss Mystery, & I'll Be There For You.

Black 'N Blue reformed in 1997 for a show that would be recorded and released as - One Night Only - Live. The band would once again reform in 2003, with Shawn Sonnenschein filling in for Thayer (who is currently playing the Space Ace in Kiss); to work on a new album due for release called Hell Yeah! A big break came to St. James in 2004 when he replaced Jani Lane as the front man for multi-platinum rockers Warrant.

Black 'N Blue is slated to release a new album soon. Jamie St James has other commitments with Warrant but has said repeatedly he will finish the new Black N Blue Record Hell Yeah!. Some song titles off the new album:

  1. You're My Monkey
  2. Angry Drunk Son of A Bitch
  3. Fools Blead
  4. Target
  5. Hail, Hail
  6. Hell Yeah!
  7. World Goes 'Round
  8. So Long

(more to come)

Two of these new songs can be heard on the Bands MySpace page [1] and more news can be found at Jamie St. James Official Web Site [2].
