BLACK STAR (US ARMY)

A US Army / DLA program of the Cold War Era of storing War Reserve Vehicles in case of Nuclear War.

Many Vehicles were purchased and stored at DLA facilities around the US in anticipation of WWIII.

Program was ended in the 1990's and the vehicles were sent to Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office or reutilized in other special programs. [1]
