Bjuv is a municipality and town in Scania in southernmost Sweden.
The municipality covers an area of 115.5 km². Of the total population of 13,705, 6,856 are male, and 6,849 are female. The population density of the community is 119 inhabitants per km².

The geography consists of beech trees in its north-eastern parts, hills to the south and , in the north, some plains.

The city arms depicts a mining torch lighting up a dark area. The reason is that Bjuv has had a coal mining industry since the 18th century which laid the foundation for the industry. In the end of the 19th century, the clay industry flourished, based on the coal.
