Bjugn is a municipality in the county of Sør-Trøndelag, Norway.
It was created by a split from Ørland municipality in 1853. On 1 January 1964 its size was significantly enlarged as the municipalities Jøssund, Stjørna and Nes were incorporated into it, and the population of Bjugn increased from 1,240 to 4,940.
Botngård and Lysøysund are located in Bjugn. Botngård is the administrative centre of Bjugn municipality, Norway. Its population (2005) is 1,144.
