The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. [edit] Your dispute

I don't care what your issue with Joel Peregrine is. Either deal with it with him, or let it go. Please don't keep bringing it up on an article talk page. It's disruptive and detrimental to the Wikipedia community. You both have good opinions on the situation; we can work through that. Please stop bickering with him. --TangentIdea 12:01, 7 August 2006 (UTC)

Unfortunately you are witnessing years of annimosity. In my defense I don't search this guy out he always seems to find me. He's a loon who I've filed numerous complaints with his isp to get him to leave me alone. I have no problem ignoring him at this point, however if he keeps to past behavior he will continue to cause trouble.

BJ Peterson, Joel Peregrine really hasn't done anything on Wikipedia that warrants a block of any kind. Whatever history you two have, the rest of Wikipedia doesn't care. BJ, if you really think that this is a serious issue, get a mediator. If you really think that Joel should be blocked, show the admins proof of why you think Joel should be blocked. But don't keep threatening without doing anything -- it just looks like bickering, and it doesn't make either of you look good. If you don't want to take the issue to the admins, please just ignore him. Joel, if you're worried about your reputation on Wikipedia, please don't let this bother you (unless you really do have something in your past that you'd worry about). Let people judge you by your other interactions and edits. Like eBay -- one negative review on a user is bad, but if it's balanced with 100 good ones, the effect is negligible. If you really have something you need to apologize for, I'd recommend you do it, but if not, please just ignore BJ. --TangentIdea 13:13, 27 August 2006 (UTC)

Honestly Brian, I don't know what you're talking about. My isp? What have I done except disagree with you in a civil manner in public discussion groups? I have never insulted you personally, publicly or privately (something you don't pass up an opportunity to do) and have no interest in starting online confrontations. We have the same interests and have differing views on those interests. Simple as that. Unless you start showing me and anyone who bothers to read this some verifiable proof of these statements your comments can only be seen as potentially libelous, especially your comments about the AAEV. Unless you have proof of these and other defamtory statements please remove them. (The tone of all my communications with you has had this same tone - professional, polite and to the point.) --Joel Peregrine 20:27, 26 August 2006 (UTC) - - Wow Peregrine, I'll point out that here you are again, on my personal talk page this time, once again threatening me with libel and whatever else you can come up with, another reason I have forbidden you to personally email me. My last complaint to your isp was your threat to sue me over a non-existant trademark. And no an aplication for trademark filed 1 day before you emailed me with your threat, does not make a trademark. So Mr. Peregrine, you won't find me on your personal talk page because frankly you're a waste of my time. As to your AAEV I invite anyone to visit aaev.org and check out the all of 12 members the majority of who are the acreditation judges. The two founders acredited the judges and what the judges turned around and acredited the founders or did you acredit yourselves?... That's what is called a sham. But I digress, you have once again followed me into a new venue, my talk page, butted into a conversation with another person, again threatened me and once again proven yourself to be the pest I claim you are. Once again you are not welcome to email me, call me and if you show up on my talk page again I'll file a complaint with Wikipedia to have your privelages removed. Goodbye Mr. Peregrine. - BJ Peterson

Ryan, like I said he's pursuing me, I have no desire to interact with this person. I've deleted his words and my response, so hopefully this will be the last of it.BJ Peterson 14:31, 27 August 2006 (UTC)

Then don't respond. I'd recommend that you do actually put his comments back, or at least put it on an archive page on your user space -- deleting other people's comments, even if you don't like them, is considered a violation of WikiEttiquette, and it looks like you're trying to hide something. FWIW. --TangentIdea 02:05, 28 August 2006 (UTC)

Put both of them back then --BJ Peterson
