BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse is a regional chain that was created in 1978, by converting 5 restaurants purchased from the Pietro Corporation. There are currently 51 restaurants located in the states of California, Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, Texas and Oregon. 10 of these restaurants contain breweries. BJ's Headquarters are in Huntington Beach, California.

Pizookie (from pizza cookie) is a dessert introduced and served by BJ's Brewhouse. The dish can consist of various flavors of cookie doughs baked in deep-dish pizza pans, then topped with vanilla bean ice cream, and served hot.
