To the user at 71.67.245.3 : You have added Ted Parella as a notable alumni. Can you furnish information about why he is notable? It is customary to state more about the person. I will monitor this page to see what you write. I will leave a message on your talk page. Mfields1 01:42, 16 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Notable alumni

nn-warn The notable alumni is not well researched; some of the listees don't meet wikipedia's guidelines for Wikipedia:Notability (people). None of the listees are linked to other pages. Mfields1 00:14, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

A warning was issued last week. All the persons listed on the article were checlked through search engines and Wikipedia, and these persons are not commonly found. I have searched to find some person from Fenwick that is notable and belongs in Wiki; none have been found to date. To persons adding the names, the list cannot be a list of names, it should include a bulleted point with the name, and some reason for notabilitiy, e.g.

  • Joseph Bleax - U.S. Congressman
  • Mary C. Ontrary - Federal Judge
  • James Shew - Professional NBA basketball player

In this way it will be obvious why the list of persons or a person is not a vanity list. There are a lot of lovely graduates from Fenwick high school, and Wiki is not a collection of facts. Please look to establishing in a short phrase or sentence the occupation or vocation of the person which you believe should be added to a notable alumni list. Since Wiki is a world wide encyclopedia it would be helpful to show recognized names which are known outside of Middletown or Butler / Warren County. (added by User:Mfields1)
