Talk:Birmingham-Hoover-Cullman Combined Statistical Area

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

There's no such thing as the Birmingham-Hoover-Cullman Metropolitan Area. There is a Greater Birmingham Metropolitan Area which includes a number of adjacent satellite cities, one of which is Hoover. Cullman, on the other hand, is simply too far north and too unrelated. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 139.76.128.71 (talkcontribs).

  • That's true. The census uses the term "Birmingham-Hoover-Cullman, AL Combined Statistical Area" to refer to the areas covered by the "Birmingham-Hoover, AL Metropolitan Statistical Area" and the "Cullman, AL Micropolitan Statistical Area". See the map here. --Dystopos 22:33, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
