The Birmingham Fire was a professional American football team that played in the World League of American Football in 1991 and 1992. The team played at Legion Field, and it made the playoffs in both seasons.
In 1995, the franchise was resurrected in Düsseldorf, Germany as the Rhein Fire of NFL Europe.
