[edit] Boundaries
The constituency covers Birkenhead, in the Wirral on Merseyside.
The boundary commission has recommended that Birkenhead gain the entire Prenton ward from Wirral West (the ward is currently shared between the two constituencies). This is unlikely to affect the ward much as although the Prenton Ward contains a lot of large houses, it also contains a large former council estate.
