Bird on a Wire is a 1990 action comedy feature film directed by John Badham. The film stars Mel Gibson and Goldie Hawn. Supporting cast includes David Carradine, Bill Duke, and Stephen Tobolowsky.

Bird on a Wire was produced by Rob Cohen. Music was written by Hans Zimmer.

An informant in the witness protection program (played by Gibson) is recognized by an old girlfriend (played by Hawn) who inadvertently exposes him to his old enemies (Carradine and Duke).
