Talk:Bionanotechnology

This addition is copied from [1]. Because this is a publication of the U.S. government, I believe it is in the public domain. However, the material is lacking in context, and needs more attention, from someone knowledgeable, to make sense. FreplySpang (talk) 23:33, August 13, 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Bionanonanobio
Can someone tell me why there's an article named Nanobiotechnology in addition to this one? Seems rather redundant. Joffeloff 17:33, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
- I think that bionanotechnology = adapting the mechanisms found in molecular biology for nanomachines that can do many kinds of work, while nanobiotechnology = designing nanomachines to do work within biological organisms. Presumably there's overlap between these fields, but order does seem to matter. :-) FreplySpang (talk) 17:38, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
