Biopure

Biopure Corporation (NASDAQ: BPUR) is a biotechnology company whose main two products are blood substitutes Hemopure and Oxyglobin. Its market strategies involving their products have been used as a case study by Harvard Business School to understand market strategy, market segmentation, and new product marketing. Biopure also develops products that assist in oxygenating body tissues.
