Biodynamic agriculture is a world-wide movement. In the U.S., The Biodynamic Farming & Gardening Association, Inc., located outside of Eugene, OR, is the U.S. headquarters.

The Association was formed in 1938 in New York state and is a 501(c)3 organization.

The Association has an educational focus and conducts conferences, workshops and seminars; publishes books and a bi-monthly journal, ''Biodynamics''; supports regional, grass-roots membership groups and funds formal research and training institutions.
