Bin bag
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A bin bag (Commonwealth English) or garbage bag (American English) is a bag used to line the insides of waste containers to prevent the insides of the receptacle from becoming coated in waste material. Most bags nowadays are made out of plastic. Biodegradable bin bags are also being produced that contain corn starch to help the material break down.
When the bag is half full, the user can remove it without having to come into contact with the contents.
Such bags, when used in the foodservice context in the United States are sometimes called can liners.
