Bimkom ("Planners for Planning Rights") is an Israeli non-profit group established in May 1999 by planners and architects who sought to include human rights concerns in their spatial and urban planning work. It actively campaigns for greater public involvement in the planning process. Its strategies include community-planning activities, educational activities, and public out-reach activities. Its largest region of action has been the Negev Desert of southern Israel, where it has helped the Bedouin of the unrecognized villages.
