I have created the stub on country singer Billy Walker who died on 21 May 2006. It has been based on an Associated Press obituary and his Allmusic.com profile. Capitalistroadster 07:08, 22 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Article name

What's the usual WP disambiguation practice, like (film), or (Virginia), or the such? In that case the article needs to be either Billy Walker (singer) or Billy Walker (musician). Good play to post that; I heard of Walker's death last night. It seems unconscionable for members of the Opry to not be included -- this would be akin to not having an entry on an Oscar-winning actor/ress. Shawn Pickrell 20:15, 28 May 2006 (UTC)

I created the article by clicking on Billy Walker recent deaths and going from there. Capitalistroadster 21:25, 28 May 2006 (UTC)

In this case, musician is more appropriate than singer because Walker was more than a vocalist. (He was also a guitarist.) --TantalumTelluride 18:42, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
