Billy Tibbetts

Billy Tibbetts (born October 14, 1974 in Boston, Massachusetts) is a professional hockey player who last played on the Boston Bruins roster. On September 18, Tibbets was officially released from the club. Previously, he had played for the New York Rangers, Philadelphia Flyers and Pittsburgh Penguins of the NHL. He is notable for having served three years in jail from 1996 to 1999 after being convicted of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and a probation violation. On the ice he is known as a fighter and an enforcer. In 2005-06 he played for the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League. He recently was signed by the Anaheim Ducks after taking place on the show "Be a Bruin".
