Billy Grenfell

Gerald William 'Billy' Grenfell (March 29, 1890 - July 30, 1915), was the second son of Lord Desborough and Ethel Priscilla Fane and a younger brother of Julian Grenfell a British poet of World War I.
He was educated at Eton College and Balliol College, Oxford.
He was killed in action on July 30, 1915, leading a charge near Hooge. His body was lost in the mud and never recovered.
His name is inscribed on the Menin Gate
