Bill Thomas (June 20, 1983, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) is a professional ice hockey player who currently plays right wing for the National Hockey League's Phoenix Coyotes.

[edit] Playing career

He was undrafted out of suburban Pittsburgh Fox Chapel High School. Played for the Tri-City Storm of the USHL. Played for the University of Nebraska at Omaha Mavericks for two years. Played in the 2006 NCAA Hockey Tournament and signed his first pro contract with the Phoenix Coyotes a few days after the Mavericks were eliminated. He is the younger brother of roller hockey player Dave Thomas (no relation to the Wendy's fast food franchise). Bill developed most of his superior hockey skills playing roller hockey after school at the famed Boyd Library Court located in O'Hara Township, Pennsylvania. "Boyd" has produced other notable hockey stars such as Lance "Beans" Snyder, Jesse "Slow Boy" Aiken, and Chris "Rolls" Flecker.
