Bill Mikkelson

Bill Robert Mikkelson (born May 21, 1948 in Neepawa, Manitoba) is a retired Canadian ice hockey defenseman.

Originally signed as a free agent by the Los Angeles Kings in 1970, Mikkelson has been claimed in two expansion drafts: first by the New York Islanders in the 1972 draft, and then by the Washington Capitals in the 1974 draft. He retired following the 1976-77 NHL season.
