Bill McCormack

William Donal McCormack (1990-Present)'Bill' Bill McCormack is famous for being the Thurles Sarsfields GAA Club's Goalkeeper. As well as playing underage for his county Tipperary. His senior career never materialized despite early promise. Bill was described as a 'Folk Hero' in the Tipperay GAA scene by the Kilkenny People newspaper 26/3/06. The Tipperay Star however criticeised him strongly for his performance between the sticks for the Tipperary Team. Describing him as a 'Sissy' who 'belonged in a convent' 18/12/2005. However after a celebrated liable case he won damages and now is a co-owner in the newspaper. He lives in Two-Mile-Borris. He likes amateur dramatics and golf to relax.
