Bill Loader

Reverend Professor William (Bill) R. G. Loader is a professor at Murdoch University in Perth, Western Australia, where he is undertaking a five year Australian Research Council Professorial Fellowship on: Attitudes towards Sexuality in Judaism and Christianity in the Hellenistic Greco-Roman Era. Loader is a minister of the Uniting Church in Australia. From 1978, Loader was New Testament Lecturer at the Perth Theological Hall of the Uniting Church in Australia teaching in the Theology Programme in the School of Social Sciences and Humanities (and is currently Principal of the Perth Theological Hall.); from 1986, he has been lecturer and later Professor of New Testament at Murdoch University (1998-2003 also as Head of the School of Social Inquiry); Loader is the Editor of Colloquium, the journal of the Australia and New Zealand Society for Theological Studies (ANZSTS).
