Bill Dennis is a former NASCAR driver. He made his debut at age 26 at the 1962 Capital City 300 in the#98 and finished 15th. After a couple of part-time runs, he attempted a full-time schedule in 1970, winning Rookie of the Year with Donlavey Racing. Unfortunately, he was injured a few years later and never displayed his potential. His last start came in the 1981 World 600.

Bill Dennis has won two Daytona Busch Series 300 races consecutively, joining Darrell Waltrip, Bobby Allison, the late Dale Earnhardt and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. and Tony Stewart.
