Played with bands led by Mike Riley, John Benson Brooks, Stan Getz, Claude Thornhill, Terry Gibbs, Jerry Wald, Marian McPartland, Jimmy McPartland, Gerry Mulligan, Al Cohn & Zoot Sims, Bob Brookmeyer & Clark Terry, Quincy Jones, Benny Goodman, Eddie Condon, Walter Norris, Peter Duchin, Marty Napoleon, Chris Griffin, Gene DiNovi, Doug Proper, Joe Beck, Carmen Leggio. Played Broadway shows: Boccaccio, The King and I, The Grand Tour, Morrisey Hall, On the Twentieth Century, 42nd Street. Author of two books: "Jazz Anecdotes" and "From Birdland to Broadway" both published by Oxford University Press
