Bilin (biochemistry)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Bilins are blue or green pigments that consist of a linear arrangement of pyrroles.[1]

An example of a bilin is micromatabilin, which is responsible for the green color of the Green Huntsman Spider, Micrommata virescens.
