Bihar People's Party

Bihar People's Party was a political party in the Indian state of Bihar, founded by Rajput strongman and former leader of the Samajwadi Krantikari Sena paramilitary faction Anand Mohan Singh. Singh had previously been a member of Janata Dal, Samata Party and All India Rashtriya Janata Party. He had been elected to Lok Sabha as a SAP candidate in 1996 and as a AIRJP candidate in 1998.

The wife of Singh, Lovely Anand, was a high-profile leader of BPP.

BPP merged with the Indian National Congress on February 28 2004.
