[edit] Big Brother housemates

I removed {{Big Brother housemates}} because it was not implemented properly. All (every single one) of the ten links for contestants was broken, because they all point to internal sections which don't exist. There are three stand-alone articles for contestants, including one for the winner, which we should link to, which {{Big Brother housemates}} doesn't handle. So, please, only add back {{Big Brother housemates}} if you're going to also create a section for each contestant. --Rob 22:26, 27 June 2006 (UTC)

Also, I de-linked non-articled names, to avoid the annoyance of circular links to redirects, which point back to this page. --Rob 22:27, 27 June 2006 (UTC)
However, according to the WikiProject, the official infobox is Big Brother Housemates, so technically this is what we should be doing. If we adhere to the guidelines, this article will be better. This includes giving the housemates sub-headings (houseguests in the American version). This makes it easier to read and main article templates can be included for larger articles. This is resolves the need to delete pages of housemates which are stubs and having to delete them. Look at Big Brother (UK series 7), as it is laid out quite well, along with the other UK Big Brother pages. Geoking66 01:04, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
I have no problem with the {{Big Brother housemates}} template *if* it is added properly, which means *first* having a section for each houseguest. But it wasn't added properly, and all the links were defective, and there were no links to the stand-alone biographies. There's really no justification for having ten broken links. Once houseguest sections are made, you can link from each section to any stand-alone article. It seems absurd to break one season's article, and then go on to break other articles, before fixing the first one broken. I suggests in any future edits, you preview the change, and ensure *all* links you add (internal and external) work. --Rob 02:08, 28 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Offensive content follows:

  • Ultimately, Eddie McGee survived to the end, and won the $500,000 grand prize, with Josh Souza coming in second. Capn Crack fucked your skanky whore mother in her nasty ass pussy, you little shit twats.

I found this on the Big Brother USA 1 page, just above "spoilers end here." I believe that if I tamper with it, someone will simply decide to repost it as if it were never touched. Messy Thinking 02:19, 27 August 2006 (UTC)
