Big Trouble (novel)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Big Trouble is a novel written by Dave Barry. A comic spoof of the crime fiction genre, it has often been compared to the works of Elmore Leonard, who, as it turns out, is a fan of the book.

It was made into a film version in 2001. However, the film was not released until 2002 because of the September 11 attacks, as the film details a nuclear weapon being unnoticed by security officials at an airport.

Barry, who used to write for the Miami Herald, set the novel's events in and around Miami, Florida.
