Big River, Saskatchewan

Big River is a town located in Saskatchewan, Canada. It is located northwest of Prince Albert to the west of Prince Albert National Park. Big River is situated on Cowan Lake and close to Delaronde Lake.

The lumber industry has been an important contributor to Big River's economy since the early twentieth century. Its other main driver is tourism including fishing and hunting.

Cultural events in the area include the provincially well known Ness Creek Festival east of the town.
