From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Big Herk (Born Amery Dennard in Detroit, Michigan). An American rapper, who is featured on the Rap Snacks "Hot Sauce" brand, from the Woodrow Wilson and Tyler neighborhood of Detroit. Starting off rapping with the Detroit-based super group Rock Bottom selling over 200,000 copies with the group Who Is Rock Bottom?, later leaving due to group differences in late 2003 and dropping his debut disc Guilty As Charged which helped pushed his name in the city.
Many residents say that he is the "Hottest in the D", but it was not until 2005 when he started to make his moves by creating his own Record label "Got 'Cha Back Entertainment" to open doors for his chances of making it in the music business, he was later featured in the Project 313 movie.
He is also featured on Slum Village's Detroit Deli: A Taste of Detroit album featuring MC Breed entitled It's On, and Obie Trice's Second Round's on Me album featuring Eminem and Trick Trick entitled There They Go. Residents of Detroit claim that Herk is the Best to come out of the city, and many argue that he is better that the known legend Eminem himself. Big Herk is expected to release his first album (not mixtape) entitled Over Dose, rumors are circulating that it will release in Early 2007.
