Biffa plc

Biffa plc is one of the UK's largest integrated waste management businesses, providing collection, landfill and special waste services to local authorities and industrial/commercial clients. Biffa was sold by Severn Trent plc with a flotation which was completed on 9th October 2006 giving Biffa an initial market capitalisation of £932.4m and a turn over of £712.3million in 2005/6[1]. Biffa has made good profits in the first year since flotation.[2]

The Chairman of the Biffa Group is Sir John Egan.
