Nabil, I know you wouldn't like to have a Sufi talking about bida. Nevertheless, it is a POV held by many people. Rather than delete the link, add one that you feel represents your point of view. The following sentence... "Literally it is religious practices not considered sunnah (the way of the prophet), which date back to Muhammad." ...makes no sense!

I want to redirect this to Bid'ah, a more correct pronunciation. Any comments?
