GENESIS 32

Approaching home Jacob is in fear of Esau, to whom he sends gifts. While sleeping, a man wrestles with him. The "man" pleads to be released, but Jacob demands a blessing. He announces to Jacob that he shall bear the name "Israel" ("one who wrestled with God").
