[edit] Bhagalpur riots

Shouldn't this page have some info abt the Bhagalpur riots? I'd wait for sometime for others to add the info to the article as I do not know much about the riots myself. --Gurubrahma 06:37, 2 October 2005 (UTC)

I do agree. The communal riots which engulfed Bhaglapur and the adjoining areas during/ around September-October, or perhaps few weeks earlier, were really bad. By the way, I was not there exactly during those bad days (and nights), but had worked in the city from the last week of December 1989 until June 1993, before shifting to Gaya, Bihar. this is good that people want to know the history of bhagalpur. but bhagalpur has many other things and stories to tell other than riots. why only show the ugly face of riots and stamp it as the history of bhagalpur? should it be known only for this? bhagalpur has the history of its residents too. the 'Anandgarh Palace', the 'Kunchengarh palace', the Rabindra Bhawan and the unique JEWS' Cemetry near Parbatti in bhagalpur ! why dont you people add that too ? - --61.0.180.223 17:56, 12 November 2006 (UTC)daman tiwari
