Bharath Institute of Science and Technology

Bharath Institute of Science and Technology (also known as Bharath Engineering College) is a college in Selaiyur, India. It is now a [Deemed University] called Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research (BIHER).
Bharath Institute of Science and Technology (BIST) was established under the aegis of Sri Lakshmi Ammal Education Trust with the aim of imparting higher knowledge in Science and Technology to the aspiring boys and girls so that they can emerge competent scientists, engineers and technologists of repute.
BIST was started in the year 1984, and has since been approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). The Institute is committed to the grand task of providing quality education, which will transform the students into efficient and successful careerists. Students who have graduated from BIST are already serving in responsible positions, in India and abroad.
