Bharath Gopi

Bharath Gopi is a Malayalam language film actor and winner of India's National Film Award for Best Actor for Kodiyettam. His first movie was Adoor Gopalakrishnan's Swayamvaram in 1972. He was also in two Hindi movies, Aghat and Satah se udta admi. Gopi was also a film director. His Yamanam was awarded Best Film on Social Issues by the National Award Jury in 1991. Gopi was paralyzed by a stroke in 1986.
