Bexley Cricket Club

Bexley Cricket Club was founded in 1805 at the Manor Way ground in Bexley Village. Members of Bexley CC who have played test match cricket for England include Robert Key, Min Patel, and Arthur Wellard. Bexley also boasts England disabled cricketer Frederick Dove, (who also happens to be the co-presenter of BBC World Service's radio programme Outlook). Bexley have historically been one of the strongest clubs in South-East England, with two Evening Standard final appearances and winning the Kent Premier League in the last ten years. Bexley fields five teams on a Saturday and two on a Sunday. Their progress can be monitored at the kent league website or via Play-cricket.com or by logging on to their website at BexleyCC
