Bevor

A bevor is very much like a gorget in the way it protects the neck. A bevor is made of interlinking plates like a gauntlet or any other piece of plate armour. These plates formed articulated lames around the neck and chin. The bevor was typically worn in conjunction with a sallet, the two pieces of armour combining to provide protection for the whole of the head and neck.
