Betws Garmon is a small hamlet outside Waenfawr. it is near Beddgelert also. two caravan parks are in the area. One closer to Waenfawr than the other. Both have the train going near it. But one Bryn Gloch has it going through it. over the road from Bryn Gloch there is a church. On the mountain you can see mines along it. Betws Garmon also has a park near it. There is near the station a road wich leads to Rhosgadfan. up that road there is a foot path that lleads to Y Fron. A river that flows through the hamlet is called Afon Gwyrfai.
