Betty Lucas was also married for 12 years, from 16th march 1941 to 18th may 1953. Betty Lucas split from her husband Jon Garland (also in acting) so that she could focus on her career. After her divorce Betty's acting seemed repressed and different, she then took on more dark and passionate roles and her career flourished.
