Betty Goo is a Boston power-popband that formed in 1994 and disbanded in 1999, only to reunite in 2001 and finally, 2004. The band, led by singer Aaron Tap, featured Doug Fraim on bass and two drummers: Chad MacDonald and Jeff Norcross. The trio's greatest success came in 1997 with the release of the album Gooicide, an album ostensibly about the breakup of a band. The album received some play on college radio, particularly the lead song "Buzz." The band opened for the The Mighty Mighty Bosstones and Better than Ezra, among others.
