Betrothal in a Monastery (Obrucheniye v monastïre in transliteration) is Sergei Prokofiev's 6th opera with an opus number.

Written in four acts to a Russian libretto by the composer and his second wife Mira Mendelson, the opera is based on Richard Brinsley Sheridan's comic opera libretto The Duenna.

Summer Night (Op. 123) is an orchestral suite with music drawn from Betrothal in a Monastery.

  2. Serenade: Adagio

  4. Dreams (Nocturne): Andante tranquillo
