The Betrayed Demo was the last demo released by British rock band Angel before they changed their name to Reuben. This demo was self-released and recorded at Surrey University. The recordings are available to download for free on the band's website to stop fans paying inflated prices for bootleg or bad-quality recordings.

Angel were fundamentally Reuben, the only difference being the inclusion of Jason Wilcock on drums before Mark Lawton took over in late 1999. The band was renamed to Reuben shortly before the release of the Pilot EP in 2001 to avoid potential legal problems.
