Betong, Sarawak

Betong is a town and administrative district of the Betong Division in Sarawak, Malaysia, lying in the Saribas area. It was formerly placed under the district of Sri Aman.
Betong is famous for its longhouses and rich culture, but the surrounding area was only recently established as an administrative division of Sarawak. The total population is 51,426, which consists of Malays (Orang Laut) (29,919), Ibans (18,764), Chinese (2,321) and others (422).
