Bethel Bible College

Bethel Bible College aka, Bethel Gospel School. Founded by Charles Parham in Topeka, Kansas, October 1900. 40 students (including Agnes Ozman) gathered to learn the major tenets of the Holiness Movement from Parham. Parham wondered what the evidence for baptism in the holy spirit was in the New Testament. He went on a three day trip and asked his students to ponder this question while he was gone. They concluded that glossolalia (speaking in tongues) was proof that the holy spirit had fallen upon an individual.
