Beth Midrash Hagadol-Beth Joseph

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Beth Midrash Hagadol-Beth Joseph is a Modern Orthodox, Zionist synagogue in Denver, Colorado.[1][2]

As of 2005, it was the only synagogue in the country affiliated with the Orthodox Union without a Mechitza, thus allowing men & women to sit together (mixed seating).[3] It is the only surviving example of a seating style that had previously been present in a substantial number of Orthodox Union affiliated synagogues.[citation needed]

The synagogue is served by Rabbi Selwyn Franklin. [4]
