Beth Maitland

Beth Maitland is an American actress, best known for her portrayal of Traci Abbott Connelly in the CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless in the 1980s and from 2001 to the present on a recurring basis.
Born in Rapid City, South Dakota, Maitland and her family moved to Scottsdale, Arizona when she was just seven. By age thirteen she had already appeared in numerous community theatre and dinner theatre productions. She attended Arizona State University, majoring in music and theatre. Maitland moved to Los Angeles in 1978 and worked in night clubs while taking acting classes at the Los Angeles Film Industry Workshop.
On television, Maitland has appeared in several made-for-television movies, and a supporting role in one film.
During Beth's free time, she and her husband raise and train horses. She also enjoys swimming, racquetball and bicycling. Maitland devotes her time to charitable organizations, such as the American Heart Association and The American Cancer Society.
