Best Of The Simpsons

The Australian version of the Best of the Simpsons series was started in September 2005 after popular demand of the reprinting of the original Simpsons Comics issues from the 1990's. The publisher, Otter Press, decided to start these collector's editions at issue #32, because that was the first issue ever printed in Australia.
Originally the series was scheduled to be released every month along with the regular issues, but starting March 2006 they were released bi-monthly with the Best Of Bart Simpson comic book.
The parent of this series is a similar UK book also titled The Best of the Simpsons. The differences include the fact that the UK edition reprints two old Simpsons Comics in each book, while the Australian edition only prints one issue at a time. Both series, along with the Australian Best of Bart Simpson series, have a set template for the cover, which includes a sidebar with character and story descriptions.
